Privacy Policy
In short: 2048 doesn't collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or trackers, and the app makes no network requests. Your game progress stays on your Roku device.
This policy explains how the 2048 app for Roku devices (the "App") and this website, 2048.mistr.uk (the "Site"), handle information. The App and Site are published by Jamie Perry ("we", "us"). If you have any questions, contact support@mistr.uk.
Information the App collects
None. The App does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. It has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting services and no third-party SDKs, and it does not connect to the internet.
Information stored on your device
To let you continue where you left off, the App saves the following only on your Roku device, in the storage the Roku operating system provides for each app:
- the current game board and score,
- your best score, and
- whether sound effects are on or off.
This data is never sent to us or anyone else. It is deleted when you remove the App from your Roku device.
Roku
The App runs on the Roku platform. Roku, Inc. may collect information about your device and how you use it, including which apps you install and use, under its own policies. We don't receive that information. See the Roku Privacy Policy for details.
This website
The Site uses no cookies, analytics or tracking, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the Site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we don't share them.
Children
The App is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information, it collects none from children, including children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR in the UK and EU, or US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete personal data about you. As the App holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access or delete. For any support emails you've sent, contact support@mistr.uk and we'll delete them on request.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. If the App ever starts collecting personal information, we will update this policy before that change is released.
